Stephen Grand

President and Partner
Grand-Sakwa Properties

Mr. Grand has been President and Partner of Grand-Sakwa Properties, one of southeastern Michigan’s major developers of residential and retail properties, since 1990. From 1980 to 2000, he was President and Owner of Deco-Grand, Inc., a manufacturer of precision components and assemblies for diesel engines and automotive industries. Mr. Grand has served on the boards of the Karmanos Cancer Institute, Focus Hope, and the American Technion Society, as well as on the Endowment Committee of the Jewish Federation of San Francisco. He is a member of the DeTocqueville Society of the United Way of Michigan and a member of the Northern California Presidents Organization. Mr. Grand received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from the University of Michigan School of Engineering.


Lester B. Knight

Lester B. Knight is Founding Partner and Managing Partner of RoundTable Healthcare Partners. Mr. Knight, with over 25 years in the healthcare industry, has extensive strategic, operational and senior management experience, including serving as Vice Chairman of Cardinal Health and Chairman and CEO of Allegiance Healthcare. In addition to his role at RoundTable, Mr. Knight serves as the non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Aon Corporation. He is also a Trustee of Northwestern University, and is a Director of Evanston Northwestern Healthcare and Junior Achievement of Chicago. He holds an MBA from Cornell University Johnson School of Management and is a graduate of Cornell University.


Philip J. Purcell

Continental Investors

Philip J. Purcell is President of Continental Investors, a firm he founded in 2006. Prior to this, Mr. Purcell served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Morgan Stanley from 1997 until his retirement in 2005; he was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Dean Witter, Discover & Co. from 1986 until they acquired Morgan Stanley Group Inc. in 1997. Before this, he was Senior Vice President of Corporate Planning and Administration for Sears and spent 11 years at McKinsey and Company. Mr. Purcell holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a Master of Science degree from the London School of Economics. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame.


Robert Wolf

Robert Wolf is President of UBS Investment Bank and Chairman & CEO of UBS Group for the Americas. Prior to joining UBS, Mr. Wolf held several positions over a span of 10 years at Salomon Brothers. Mr. Wolf was recently appointed to the President’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board, where he reports directly to President Obama. He also serves on the Undergraduate Executive Board of the Wharton School, the Athletics Board of Overseers at the University of Pennsylvania, the Board of Directors for the Partnership for NYC, the Board of Directors for the Financial Services Round Table, and the Board of Trustees for the Children’s Aid Society. Mr. Wolf is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and on the Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy. He is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
