Careers at the MMRF

The MMRF has an amazing team of talented individuals working tirelessly to achieve our mission. We are always looking for individuals who can bring innovation, a sense of urgency and a drive for results to help us with our mission.

We so appreciate the importance of having individuals who make a difference for us by volunteering their time on specific projects. Opportunities exist throughout the organization but we have the greatest need for volunteers to work on events.

Full-Time Employment

Sr. Director, Medical and Scientific Affairs
The MMRF is searching for a creative, resourceful, integrative thinker for a highly visible role that is responsible for leading medical and scientific affairs communications, publications strategy, patient advocacy and education initiatives. The candidate will be expected to travel domestically and internationally to attend congresses and external meetings with academic and industry collaborators. The Sr. Director Medical and Scientific Affairs is responsible for maintaining and expanding the MMRF current education and advocacy programs and cultivating partnerships with cross-functional partners both internally and externally.

Database Assistant
The Database Assistant is responsible for processing basic paperwork, mail, donations, and other various correspondences for the database and donations team. The MMRF is driven by a donor-based database, which is the most important part of fundraising. The Database Assistant aids the data and donations in maintaining up-to-date and real time SAGE and Blackbaud Luminate CRM databases. Entering and updating donor info, contribution amounts, and additional relevant information is important. Successful management of this database is imperative in effective fundraising efforts. The database is an essential tool to all MMRF departments. The purpose of the Data Entry Assistant is to accurately enter data to provide metrics from such information.

This individual will report to the Digital Marketing Manager and will be responsible for supporting the execution of our digital marketing strategies. Internships & Volunteers

Volunteers
We so appreciate the importance of having individuals who make a difference for us by volunteering their time on specific projects. Opportunities exist throughout the organization but we have the greatest need for volunteers to work on events.

Intern
We work with graduate schools to provide internship projects specifically geared to the required course programs. You can apply for one of the internships we have already defined, or you can apply to us directly to propose the type of internship you would like to have us consider.

The internship projects typically include:

  • Defining the project, expected outcomes and next steps
  • Researching
  • Benchmarking
  • Analyzing and recommending
  • Preparing a presentation
  • Presenting recommendations to the Executive Committee and appropriate members of staff
