Run "The People's Marathon", an inspiring, beautiful, 26.2-mile course that you will never forget. This is one of the best marathons in the country, with a course that will keep you in awe of the majesty and beauty of Washington DC throughout the entire race. Starting in Arlington, VA, the course crosses the Potomac River into scenic Georgetown and onto the Capitol Mall. Take in all of the monuments and tourist sites in DC that will make you forget you have 10 more miles to go. Later you get a tour of Crystal City and the Pentagon before crossing the finish line at the Marine Corps War Memorial. If you want to honor a loved one who served our country, this is the place to do it. Family and friends may run the popular MCM 10K on the same day!
