Run or walk this popular 10K and enjoy the excitement of the Marine Corps Marathon (MCM) and the on-course support of the military. The route is a great one—a highlight tour of the marathon course which takes place on the same day. . This 10K starts at the Smithsonian, traverses the Mall, crosses the Potomac at the 14th Street Bridge, skirts around the Pentagon, and completes the course at the same finish line as the full marathon: The Iwo Jima Memorial.
